In Bangladesh and West Bengal, field kits are primarily needed to identify whether water contains arsenic above or below 50 µg/l, the permissible limit for drinking water accepted by the governments of the two countries. Hence, depending on the detection limits of field-kits, we may consider using them to measure arsenic above or below 50 µg/l.
